A little more useful and less programming involved, would be to integrate the touch capability on Windows 7 for use with the new wave of Full PC tablets running Windows 7. These will take over the tablet market for businesses.

I saw a Rhino 3d model the other day on someones Iphone. Was pretty impressive, but how useful who knows...

if you was to look at the FT web application. perhaps a cross platform web application might be a good call? But I guess its a graphics processing issue. But if you do have an iphone or an ipad check out this application. http://www.3don.co.uk/ TelkaBIMsight would be perfect if it can run like this application.

Tekla on a Ipad, will be a very important step for construction tecnology history. You can solve issues in real-time, looking for the problem and for the model same time. Will spare tons of paper and models can be discussed anywere!! Metal and pre-cast factories will benefit a lot more with that cus will generete an unstoppable productivity with a huge horizon on the hands of everybody.. "Ipad Mans" will be around just showing the final result...can´t wait for that :) PS: Tekla BimSight on laptops is already good, but not so flexible as an Ipad solution, in my opinion of course...Another hint for Tekla and trimble now that their are together.... Create a Tekla Ipad...a Blue one.. you will see how good will be ;)

We really belive iPads are the future of constructuction field technology. The ability to have the model in the field is a huge advantage. I would love to see this feature/application developed.

Please make the software available to the ipad. windows7 tables are tottally out of the market share right now. Everyone hava a Ipad, who use a windows 7 tablet.

I think is better developing an app to android than IOS, because android dominate over 50% of smartphones's market so you'll cover more than ipad and iphone.

Please make a tablet version of BIMSight that can be run offline and synchronised when back within the network. Please do not release an Apple version then 12 months later release Android/Windows like other providers.

Hi Daniel, After registration an online connection is not required to run Tekla BIMsight. So, you can already currently use Tekla BIMsight normally with tablet in an offline mode. However, if you want to view the contents of the Help Center, an online connection is required. BR Heikki

I downloaded the Tekla BIMsight for iPad and it's not working, it's also not recognising Dropbox as that's the only way I can bring the model into iPad

Tried it on the iphone and it works... for the notes only. Is there a possibility of the models in tablets in the near future?

Hi Tobias, I just tested Tekla BIMsight with a tablet having a trial version of Windows 8. It was actually great to see that the touch and stylus commands and the basic functionalities were working in the same way as with Win 7 tablet. So it seems that there shouldn't be any major problems with Win 8. Thanks, Heikki

I would also like to see a BlackBerry Playbook app, which also has the ability to run android apps, but a true playbook app would be a much better option. Even consider the addition of BB10 OS and business will love you for this as the most secure app available.
