Hi Tobias, Are you trying to sort objects by their properties and then set the color of the filtered objects? If so, that is actually already possible in Tekla BIMsight. With the object browser model items can be filtered according to their attributes. And after sorting objects the color of the filtered object groups can be changed. See the snapshot below, where objects are sorted by a profile type W610X82 and the color is set to dark blue. See also these instructions about grouping objects http://www.teklabimsight.com/helpcenter/helpTopic.jsp?topic=bim_grouping_objects and changing colors http://www.teklabimsight.com/helpcenter/helpTopic.jsp?topic=bim_changing_color_for_objects BR Heikki http://www.teklabimsight.com/photo.jsp?key=de6ddb31-0fc4-c70f-a4e7-000027a7bce5

Hi Martin, In Tekla BIMsight you can save views for later use. Saved views retain the view representation settings that were used when the view was saved, for example, object colors, markups and clip planes. See instructions here how to save a view http://www.teklabimsight.com/helpcenter/helpTopic.jsp?topic=bim_saving_view Thanks, Heikki

What I am after is more like the representation filters in TS where you use rules (that can be set once and used for any project/model) that determine what color an object is to have. The current way you have to do it by hand for every project every time...

Tobias, now I got your point. That kind of functionality would definitely facilitate managing of object colors. We'll consider this suggestion for the future releases. Thanks, Heikki
