Saving a project as a package

You can save projects as packages. The project packages retain the notes, documents, conflict check results, saved views and unit settings of the projects. You can store and distribute packages separately from Tekla BIMsight. You can send packages to other project members for viewing and commenting.

To save a project as a package:

  1. Go to the Home tab.

  2. Move the pointer over the project that you want to save as a package.

  3. Click Save as a Package.

  4. In the Save as dialog box, browse for the folder where you want to save the project package.

  5. Enter a name for the package in the File name box.

  6. Click Save.

    The file name extension of the project package is .tbp.
