Conflict check properties define tolerances and minimun distances for objects, and set the object sets that are associated with the conflict rule.

The Edit Rule dialog box contains the following settings:

OptionDescription

Name

Object Sets

Object sets that belong to the conflict rule. A conflict rule may contain several object sets.

The following object sets are available:

The Show button displays the objects that belong to the object set in the model view.

Overlap Tolerance

Defines how much objects may overlap. If objects overlap more than what is defined in the conflict rule, a conflict exists between the objects.

You can select the unit of measurement for the overlap tolerance.

This property is optional.

Minimum Distance

Defines a minimum distance to check that objects are located far enough from each other. If the distance between objects is less than what is defined in the conflict rule, a conflict exists between the objects.

The maximum value for a minimum distance is 20 cm (8 inches).

You can select the unit of measurement for the minimum distance.
